SECURING MICROSOFT TERMINAL SERVICES was developed to provide architects, project managers, consultants, and network and security administrators with guidance in order to secure Microsoft Terminal Server environments using Enterprise Architecture methodologies, widely adopted industry standards and best practices.
“Securing Microsoft Terminal Services” (ISBN 978-0-6151-4330-9, June 07) is the only book to serve as a single point of reference on Terminal Server security. “During the many years that I have been supporting Terminal Server and Citrix Environments, I have never found a single, complete reference book that presents a holistic approach to securing a Terminal Server environment,” explains the author, Roddy Rodstein. “The Internet is a fantastic resource of information for technologists, but finding exactly what you need to secure your Terminal Server environment can be challenging and very time consuming. This book gathers all the information into one convenient place. Rather than having to search the Internet or your favorite book store, “Securing Microsoft Terminal Services” puts the answers right at your fingertips, on your desk.”

Written by Roddy Rodstein, “Securing Microsoft Terminal Services” shows how to use Enterprise Architecture methodologies, industry standards and best practices, such as ISO17799, CobIT, the National Security Agency (NSA) Guides, and Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGS) to secure a Terminal Server environment. The bulk of the book is organized as a reference that lists each step to secure your Terminal Server environment.
